How can this be done? Solving this question has repeatedly driven the research, development and production work of Qi2’s mechanical, software, electrical and optical engineers. More than thirty specialized instruments, which include new measurement and detection technologies, have resulted. The diversity has ranged from atmospheric and oceanic measurements to thermal analysis imaging at a microscopic scale.

Through this development experience, we have pioneered new applications of laser-profilometry as well as new individual and combined application of electromagnetic, ultrasonic and thermal imaging modalities.
